On arrival day, settle the hotel transfer before adding sightseeing. Nankai Rapi:t links Kansai Airport and Namba, so it is an option for a Namba hotel.

Planning example

  1. For a two-night USJ trip, use arrival day for the hotel and nearby Namba, day 2 for USJ, and departure day for luggage and airport travel. This avoids treating a short flight day as a full park day.
  2. For a Namba hotel, check the station exit and hotel walk after arrival at Nankai Namba. For Umeda, compare the full transfer route before assuming you should travel via Namba.

Around Osaka-Umeda station

Spend time eating and walking around Dotonbori, or centre the day on Umeda's shopping and views. If visiting both, order the stops to avoid repeatedly returning over the same ground.

USJ & departure

Universal Studios Japan entrance

If USJ is a priority, giving it a separate full day is easier than squeezing it into a short departure day. Move city sightseeing to arrival day or another day accordingly.

Booking order

Once flight times are fixed, check hotel check-in arrangements and match the airport journey. Choose date-specific tickets after confirming the visit date.
