Choose the station

For this route, take Line2 to Ttukseom and follow Exit8. The park's English map gives about10 minutes on foot; use it as a rough guide, not a promise for every entrance.

  • Seoul Forest on the Suin–Bundang Line is another station. Do not confuse Ttukseom with the riverside station now called Jayang; that is not this park approach.

Reach the park map

Set your destination to Seoul Forest,273Ttukseom-ro, and use marked pedestrian crossings from Exit8. At the green entrance sign, locate the park map before choosing a path.

  • The park has several entrances. If starting at Seoul Forest Station instead, use its own exit map rather than walking back to Ttukseom solely to imitate this guide.

Prepare the fare

Use a supported stored-value card or a single ticket for the train. The optional Tmoney card below is for airport collection; it does not include park activities or an unlimited number of rides.

  • Compare local card purchase if already in Seoul. Check collection terminal and desk hours, and whether the chosen package includes a balance. Ordinary park paths and separately operated facilities have different rules.

Choose a short walk

From the entrance map, choose a path loop you can return from, then add the deer-enclosure area only if its current access notice permits. Keep the entry landmark saved on your phone.

  • Trees and foliage in older photographs are seasonal references, not a forecast. Stay behind fences and do not feed or reach toward deer; a visible enclosure does not guarantee animal-area access that day.

Return before you tire

Use the saved entrance pin to retrace the public route to Ttukseom Exit8. At Line2, select the train for your actual next stop; a loop line still has two directions.

  • If leaving by a different gate, compare Seoul Forest Station with Ttukseom on the map. Allow extra time in rain or with a stroller; check facility hours separately from the train schedule.
