Choose a station

Several railways use the name Asakusa. This guide's subway route starts at Toei Asakusa Line A18, not the Ginza Line G19 platform or Tsukuba Express station.
- Save Oshiage A20 as the subway destination. On Toei, the sequence is Asakusa A18 → Honjo-azumabashi A19 → Oshiage A20.
- Another valid option is Tobu Asakusa to Tokyo Skytree station. Tobu's official guide gives about three minutes on the train, but it is a different station and fare system.
Ride toward Oshiage

At Toei Asakusa, check Oshiage as a stopping station and Honjo-azumabashi as the next stop. If the next stop is Kuramae, you are facing the wrong direction for this journey.
- A supported IC card or a valid subway ticket can pay for the selected rail segment. Check pass coverage before choosing Tobu; a subway-only ticket does not automatically cover it.
- Through-train destination names can be farther away than Oshiage. Use the stopping list and next station, not just the final destination name.
- At Oshiage, get off before the train continues into another operator's section.
Find the tower entrance

From Oshiage, follow TOKYO SKYTREE TOWN / Solamachi signs and then the tower's 4F entrance guidance. The shopping complex and paid tower entrance are not the same gate.
- Station exits, shopping-floor levels and the tower entrance floor are different numbering systems. Keep following the tower entrance icon at each junction.
- With a stroller or wheelchair, use the current station and mall lift maps. Do not copy a stair route from a general entrance photograph.
- Allow time for the indoor walk, ticket procedure and security before your reserved admission time.
Pick the deck

Tembo Deck admission covers the 350 m level. To visit the 450 m Tembo Galleria too, choose a ticket that explicitly includes both.
- The linked page also lists refreshments, restaurants and other-attraction combinations. Read the exact inclusion list; a restaurant reservation is not automatically tower admission.
- Check date, entry time, age category, redemption method and cancellation terms on the selected option. A plain tower ticket and a subway bundle have different conditions.
- For Japanese residents or passport holders, do not assume a foreign-visitor transport benefit in a combo is eligible simply because the booking page is in Japanese.
Use your ticket

Keep the full voucher available and follow its QR-entry or exchange instructions at the specified counter. Arriving at Solamachi is not the same as completing tower admission.
- Match the booked date and time before joining the queue. A reservation does not guarantee an empty security or lift queue.
- At 350 m, follow the signs for included floors. Going onward to the Galleria requires the appropriate extra entitlement.
- The deck photographs show viewing spaces on earlier visits, not today's crowd, special event or guaranteed distant view.
Return without a detour
After descending, choose Oshiage for the Toei subway return or Tokyo Skytree station for Tobu. Decide the railway before following an exit sign.
- On Toei toward Asakusa, Honjo-azumabashi is the next station and Asakusa follows. Check the current departure display.
- If you prefer to walk back, use a current street route and check the weather; it is a surface walk across the river area, not an indoor station transfer.
- Keep enough time for dinner or your next booking. Tower closing, mall closing and the last train are separate checks.
