Find Exit 8-1

At Express Bus Terminal, served by Lines 3, 7 and 9, follow signs for Exit 8-1 or 8-2. The park authority also lists Goto Mall G1 as an approach; these are not the bus boarding platforms.
- Save Banpo Hangang Park and Banpo Bridge's southern riverside entrance. A broad Exit 8 sign is not the end of the route: check the final 8-1 or 8-2 marking.
Follow the river approach

From street level walk toward Banpo Bridge using marked crossings and the signed pedestrian approach. The official estimate is about 15 minutes from the listed exits; large junctions can add time.
- Follow current park signs through the road-crossing passage rather than entering a road ramp. At the riverside, check whether you are on the pedestrian or cycle path before turning toward the bridge.
Keep costs separate
Use a valid subway ticket or supported stored-value card. The optional Tmoney card below is airport pickup, so compare local purchase if you are already in Seoul.
- Check the chosen terminal, desk hours and loaded balance before buying. A fare card does not include a cruise, bicycle rental or café purchase; a simple public riverside walk does not require those bookings.
Choose the walk

Use Banpo Bridge and the Sebitseom buildings as landmarks and choose a short out-and-back walk. Save the passage back to the station before moving farther along the river.
- Fountain photographs are seasonal references. The city's published operating season ends in October, so do not plan a November visit around a guaranteed Rainbow Fountain show. Even in season, weather or maintenance can stop it.
Leave by the saved path

Return by the same signed passage and crossings to your chosen station exit. Back inside Express Bus Terminal, select Line 3, 7 or 9 for your destination rather than following any platform sign.
- Check flood or event access notices before visiting and obey closures. Leave time for the walk and the train independently; riverside buildings staying lit does not tell you when the last train leaves.
