Ride to Shuanglian
At Taipei Main R10 take a northbound Red Line train toward Tamsui or Beitou and leave at Shuanglian R12, after Zhongshan R11. Check the next-station display before boarding.
- Save 寧夏夜市 on your map. This is not Shilin or Raohe Night Market, and the daytime market beside Shuanglian Station is a different destination.
Walk from Exit 1
From Exit 1 follow Minsheng West Road west toward Ningxia Road. The market office gives a walk within about 10 minutes; crossings and crowds can change that.
- At Ningxia Road locate the market stretch toward Nanjing West Road. Distinguish traffic-bearing approach streets from the stall-lined pedestrian section, and use marked crossings.
Compare transport options
For a short return, compare ordinary fares or an EasyCard first. The linked MRT pass has calendar-day and 24/48/72-hour options with different expiry rules.
- Select the collection station or airport, physical exchange and cancellation conditions carefully. It does not pay for food, and collecting at the airport does not mean Airport MRT fare is included.
Order after a first look
Walk a short first circuit to see the lanes and stalls, then confirm the menu and price before ordering. Archival stall photographs do not guarantee today's vendors or prices.
- Choose a meeting point with companions. Ask if ordering, payment and collection use separate queues; carry small notes and check payment methods and allergy ingredients rather than assuming every vendor works alike.
Choose the return station
At the north end retrace Minsheng West Road to Shuanglian. If you finish near Nanjing West Road to the south, compare the signed route to Zhongshan Exit 5 on your map.
- These are different stations, not exits of one station. Vendor closing times and MRT last trains are independent, so check your train before committing to a late meal.
