Take the Red Line

At Taipei Main R10, choose southbound Red Line travel to Daan Park R06. You pass Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall R08 and Dongmen R07 before reaching it.

  • Daan R05 is a different station one stop farther on. Match R06 and the next-station display before leaving; Tamsui-bound trains go the opposite way from Taipei Main.

Choose a park-side exit

Use the station map to locate the northern park edge and Xinyi Road. Exit2 is on the Xinsheng South Road side; Exit4 is by the East Light Tower. The sunken station garden is not the whole park.

  • For luggage or a stroller, follow the current lift route to street level rather than copying a staircase from a photograph. Compare the exit with your park map pin before crossing a road.

Compare the ticket

For just a few rides, compare an EasyCard or ordinary fare with a pass. The linked MRT product offers calendar-day and24/48/72-hour options, which expire differently.

  • Match the chosen station or airport collection point, physical exchange and cancellation rules. Airport pickup does not mean Airport MRT fare is included; the ordinary park walk does not require an attraction package.

At the entrance map, choose the pond and nearby paths first. Add lawns or the outdoor stage only if you have time, and save the entrance you used on your phone.

  • Plants and the stage in photographs are orientation references, not a promise of today's flowers or performances. Stay out of water and planted beds, and do not feed wildlife or cross event barriers.

Return northbound

Retrace the northern approach to Daan Park R06. For Taipei Main, choose the Tamsui direction and confirm Dongmen R07 as the next station.

  • If you leave at another corner, compare the nearest stations anew. At night use lit public paths, and check the train's last departure separately from any facility's opening hours.
