Two blue-line stops

From Taipei Main BL12, take the blue Bannan Line through Ximen BL11 to Longshan Temple BL10. Confirm a Dingpu/Far Eastern Hospital-direction train stopping at BL10.
- Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center is the opposite direction. Check Ximen as the next station before boarding.
- Do not confuse the blue platform with red-line R10 or Airport MRT A1. A shared Taipei Main name does not make every gate the right entrance.
Keep fares simple

Use a supported fare card or a single token to Longshan Temple. A day pass is not automatically better value for this short return trip.
- Compare the linked pass only with a day of several MRT rides. Check passport/residency rules, collection place and hours, activation and cancellation terms.
- A transport pass is not a guided temple tour or an offering package. A paid tour is not compulsory for an ordinary temple visit.
Find Exit 1

At BL10, follow the temple direction and Exit 1 map. On the surface, match the temple address, 211 Guangzhou Street, and the park-side approach.
- The station photograph shows Exit 1. Do not substitute Exit 3 towards the Xinfu Market side; the operator’s map distinguishes them.
- With a wheelchair or stroller, check current lifts first and include the street crossings in the route, not just the station interior.
Enter respectfully

At the gate, follow the visitor route currently open. Avoid standing on thresholds or blocking entrances, and keep worship queues separate from through movement.
- This is a working temple. Do not photograph directly in front of someone praying or performing a ritual; follow any photography restrictions.
- You need not imitate a ceremony from a photograph. If you want to participate, ask temple staff for guidance first.
See a little well

Look at the outer gate, forecourt, roof and column details in sequence for a short visit with varied views. Move quietly and step aside when stopping.
- The photographs show architecture and spaces, not a promise that a pictured ceremony occurs at the same time every day.
- In heat or rain, keep the trip to the temple and station with a rest. Nearby markets are optional rather than another compulsory stop.
Return via Ximen
From BL10, choose the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center direction: Ximen is next, Taipei Main follows.
- If continuing to a market, save the temple, market and station locations separately and plan the walking route instead of cutting through unknown lanes.
- Check temple opening information and the final usable MRT train separately. Old shop fronts and road layouts in photographs may have changed.
